Gen 1 clear corners?

I've already got a pair of the Gen 2 clear corners via Ebay over a year ago.. but I'm curious if there are any Gen 1 clear corners out there to be had? I looked on ebay but I haven't located any yet.

Just curious if anybody has ever seen any.

There's no Gen 1 clear corners. You have to make your own with sable clear corners. Sable clear corners are too long so you have to cut a little bit, and then glue the housing from Gen 1 corners on that cut clear corners.

Me too... But now... Where to find Sable clear corners?

I'm assuming that it has to be for a Gen1 Sable, since the Gen2 Sable has the narrower (top-to-bottom) corner lights, same as the Gen2 Taurus and SHO.

An eBay search for "sable clear corners" comes up empty. Any other suggestions?

Edit: Aha! So, correct me if I'm wrong, but are all Gen1 Sable corner lights totally clear? I'm looking at a couple just labeled as normal corner lights, and the lenses are clear... Is that right?

Yeah those are the right ones I think. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

I just put "91 sable corner" on Ebay, and I see a lot of clear corners(they are listed as regular corner lights). They are listed as regular corners because Sable came with clear corners stock.

I wanna do that on my SHO, but man.. those corners are expensive.

I have actually seen Gen 1 clear corners..it was a rare sight. No clue where the owner got it. And yes, it was clear corners, I saw the turn signal flashing lighting it up.
