Gainesville FL hotel info- please read due to new host hotel

Sorry for the confusion, but I am glad I did not post to go ahead and purchase back on Wednesday. LaQuinta will not work with me after they called me to tell me we all had to do a 2 night minimum stay because of the UF game that weekend.
However, I called one of my sisters friends and she recommended a place called Gainesville Hotel and Conference center out of some of my options online and I just booked through hotels.com:
Search for Gainesville FL for April 8th and it will come up. I can not paste the link because it is a temporary one.

Anyhow it is on sale, not too far from where we normally stay and they have enough rooms that we don't need anything special. Heres the info if you call them. I did not call, I did this one online because I don't think the price could be any better.

BTW I forgot to mention the price...$65 all said and done. This is the last piece to the puzzle for everyone attending. If for some reason you opt for a different hotel, there are tons in Gainesville that are close to this location.

I think your doing it wrong,I just tried it again and had no problems.
However it only has 4 open rooms remaining according to the site.

This is what I was afraid of...I was told that rooms would start going fast come closer to this weekend.
Make sure you book asap. When I reserved, there was a 15% deduction.

I went ahead and just got a room at The Paramount Plaza Hotel & Suites ($79). I couldn't get a room where you guys are for less than $120.

You are more than welcome to meet up with us. I don't know what everyone else is planning, but normally we just hang out and drink at the hotel and get a bite to eat.
