Just stopped at the shop, been talking with a guy online. Hopefully be able to get car in sometime next week to get the halos on and do a little something special to the projector lens' We are going back and for on ideas on adding actual fog lights, probably the area next to the drls under the grill.

Side marker emblem mod

So here is the progress



Fill the back with clear epoxy



the grinded off the top until you cam see the epoxy. top one is grounded bottom is not



here is is up to the light. its not the prettiest. i need different bits for the dremel.

Thanks, if i had a mini belt sander this would be perfect. Bout to look online see what i can find

35$ at home depot, gonna get it tomorrow.

Dremel type tool kits are definitely handy for these projects.

update, sanded it down a little more. pretty happy overall. gonna do a thin layer of clear epoxy over the letter to even em out a little. them gonna do the other emblem

personally I would have cut the letters completely out then glued a thin piece of plexi glass behind it. but still looks good. cant wait to see final result

I did this method once with when i cut out the SHO letters out on my 95 on the bumper and made it a brake light light. Doesnt look good, us easy for water to get in after awhile

second one , layer of epoxy on top to even things out. should be dried completly by tomorrow

Inclined you maybe.

When i get my new 3dprinter, hopefully i can figure out how to make the whole chrome piece in a clear plastic and just paint the outer chrome outline. Cus this was a pain

little update

got the leds in. they shipped me 3 correct ones and one wrong on...uhhhh 1 on each side might be good.

I started painting , i decided to paint the chrome trim black and the black parts white. i must say the black peelable paint by rustoleum on the chrome makea it look like black chrome

going to assemble tomorrow morning, gonna let everything dry good overnight
