I have an 89 with a bit of a problem. On the rear of the fuse panel, there is a wire running from the 30amp blower motor fuse to something else. Currently the wire is connected to a 8.25amp circuit breaker. The blower motor works with this setup, but after about 10 minutes with the fan full-on I can smell the wire burning (melting). I've removed the wire, and the blower system doesn't work at all. Someone has told me the setup doesn't sound stock... Does anyone know if this is the right setup?? I've tried replacing the wire with a 10 gauge (10 gauge = 30 amp) but it still burns up. Could the wire running from the 30amp fuse possibly need to be connected elsewhere or does something else need attention? Any input is greatly appreciated... Happy SHO-ing!
