Looking for ideas on what to do.
The fuse for the fog lamps / cluster lights blew the other day so i replaced it. Driving for a bit and it blew again. Worked on it some thought I got it fixed and it blew while I was driving again. This time though it created a small fire and now I have some burt wires.
Anyone have any ideas what would cause a problem like this and how to fix it? Anyone else ever have this problem?
Little more details. I have replaced my fog lights with higher wattage and done the fog lamp mod but drove around for a year with no problems. Thanks.

Somewhere the wire that burnt up is/or was shorted. Get an ohm meter and see if there is any reading between the wire and the body. If there is the wire is still shorted. You are going to have to replace the wire anyway, might as well run a new one. Also sounds like the fuse you had was too big. If the wire burnt up then it was acting as a fuse.
