So here's some closure for all who helped me!
Bought an Ect2000, plugged it into fuse 8 (the radio circuit), didn't even have to use the detector, just the ground and open circuit sounds.
Ended up being my sunblocker, the fused link inside it was all melted and the wire was grounding on the mmetal elbow it runs through. Stereo and keyless entry is pretty much sex.
