well Last year I buckled down and got the tranny rebuilt by them. A full $2600 Cash was thrown down.

so if its that last gear inside. You can be damned sure they are fixing it cuz it didn't do this til after they rebuilt it. And I didn't touch anything at all near that area.

Otherwise they are all cool people down at my local AAMCO, even told me why my Engine light was on when I didn't ask. So once I get the car back tommorow morn Ill head off and get the purge valve for the smog. Then to get smogged and registered.

Im just excited its finally gonna be working again. And I can finally replace the junk that bugs me instead of fixing whats broke. Like my broken seat power panel, or my missing sunroof shade cover.

WHoooff... That was an earthquake just now. 11:30ish Creepy, hopefully thats all its gonna be.

Alls well. I picked her up yesterday and took a spin on the freeway. I missed my secondaries. I am able to get onto the freeway now without that (man I miss my V8) lack of power feeling. They even extended my warranty 3000miles in case it goes bad again.

Not bad. The guys even gave me the code issues I had and Now I can get my car smogged and be good to go.

Alot of people bhag on places like AAMCO, In my experience You get what you pay for. And in this lovely state of California, If you don't then you can 9times out of 10 get your money back through small claims. If it should go that far. But Both times I have taken my car there. They take me straight to the car and show me the good and the bad side by side. So I can visually agree to the problem. They never charge me too much, Even less now that I go often.
