For some reason, every time I fill up at the pump (I've only used 93 octane) and start the car, the engines turns almost three times as long as normal. After that it starts up quick and normal until I need gas and have to refuel. Has anybody ever run into this issue? This only happens when I fill the tank and I never top off.

Have you inspected the fuel door to see if closes properly and promptly? Dirt & crud can build up around capless systems over time and need to be periodically cleaned.

Could be the EVAP system or the vent tube also, may not be venting the vapors properly. May need to replace the purge valve and/or the canister.

Start by checking for any codes (which may or may not trip the CEL). Any known impacts to the underbody or fuel tank area? Does the fillup proceed at normal speed, or does it click off one or more times in between?

Does P2196 or P2198 sound like anything that could cause this issue? The last time I updated my tune I saw these codes.

It's weird cause this morning the check engine light came off. I just watched a video showing that the canister purge valve can cause this issue too. Supposedly it's a cheap part and easy to replace. I might try this and see if it comes up again. Thanks for the info!

The valve should be located along the firewall. Easy to find/disconnect/replace. Battery will need disconnecting though.

In addition to purge canister, check the lines along the area, dry rot, tear, cut, missing it could be as simple as a cut line....check closely flashlights, mirrors, etc....
