Fuel tank 99 Sho

Hello, I'm in need of a new fuel tank for my 99 Sho. I've been been told there are two different tanks for this vehicle, one has an on board recovery system and the other does not. Anyone know which one I need? Thank you in advance.

You can fit either one in. The OEM one for the SHO is larger and has a more convoluted filler neck. The standard Taurus one works just fine, though, and will be much easier to find.

A local dealer who carries Spectra Premium can get them, wholesale is around $90 IIRC.

Thanks, ordered one from Advance. hope im not breaking any rules by putting the name in there. By the way they matched an online price i found which was a huge savings.
