What size injectors are on the 3.2 SHO's?

I tested the system pressure on Shogirl95's SHO and I cam back with 30psi @ idle and it wouldnt hold a primed number. Would shoot up to 40psi and drop back down immediatly after I turned the key forward, did this repeatedly trying to get it top hold. Wouldnt go for it.

I have replaced the fuel Filter and the FPR. She is getting a lean code. I can smell fuel in the gas and a strong unburnt fuel smell from the exhaust. Injectors?

I dont know how you guys work on these cars. This has been the most confusing adventure Ive had diagnosing a problem yet.

I give you all credit where credit is due. Props to you all.

Heh ya the car can be a pain. Stock 3.2 injectors i belive are about 24 lbs/hour? But if you can smell gas, wouldnt it be rich? Maybe 02 sensors. Any codes?

Thats what I would think but it is a lean code. Im wondering if an injector is hung open. Just ******* itself away.

The O2's are new.

Im really starting to wonder if this car has to go to the dealership. Im having a really hard time figuring it out.

Does the Fuel presure sound right?

Static fuel pressure should be 39 PSI (FP running and engine off).

Pressure should be around 30-40 PS with engine running at idle. This one sounds close enough that it probably isn't he problem.

It's not too dificult to check for a leaky injector. Just have the FP running for a few minutes, then pull the intake manifold and look for gas in either the intake (valves closed) or in the cylinder (valve(s) open).
