Well I drove my car all night tonight, shut it off a few times and what not. Then I shut it off and went to start it,the car started then stalled. Now the car wont start again and you cant hear the fuel pump at all. So if there something I can check before I just replace the pump or is it most likely that? The car is stuck in Ohio as we speak! :headbang:

Maybe check that the inertia switch didn't get tripped. I believe the fuel pump relay is in the CCRM. You can either check for fuel pressure at the rail or do the old carb cleaner through the throttle body to see if it tries to start.

First check the inertia switch as suggested in the trunk. Then try putting the key to off then run and really listen for the pump. If you don't hear it you've got issues. There have been a few quite detailed posts recently describing troubleshooting the fuel pump, try doing a search for them.

Edit: Here's a link to one of the recent threads, Fuel Pump thread

That night I checked the switch in the trunk and it was ok.I checked for fuel pressure at the rail..It had a TON of pressure, for about a minute or 2 straight. THen we let it all out and we have no pressure any more. You can not hear the fuel pump prime at all.

Well I went and was messing with my car today. The fuel pump does not come on at all. I checked all the fuses and what not. I replaced the IRCM with a working one and no go..I checked the switch in the trunk and it has power and the switch is down..

I was looking through some recipts today from before I bought my car, Ford put a new fuel pump, filter, and strainer on about 20 thousand miles ago.. Cant belive it would already be bad by now.
