FUEL PUMP

I have a 89 SHO, has about 181K, I replaced the fuel pump about a year ago at 155K where it showed firts signs of failure on hot days. My replacement pump was from NAPA auto parts and is showing the same signs of failure. Ford no longer supplies the pump. Any ideas ????

Walbro was the oem supplier for my 95 MTX. When it came time to replace I got the 190lph Walbro for the the 5.0 Mustangs.

The link on that SHOTimes page takes you to Auto Performance Engineering - I bought my replacement pump there as well as many other SHOForum members. I belive it was around or less than $90 shipped with everything you need to install it.
He has SHO specific kits as well, so you don't have to order the Mustang kit anymore
