Actually, it will... If you floor it, it will completely cut the injectors. If you read the manual, it says to lightly press the pedal if you are having trouble starting the car. I've had an intake backfire from doing this. Therefore, I am pretty positive it is getting fuel.MelectroK said:Holding the gas doesnt effect fuel flow on an injected car. It only effects air flow. Most likely "if pushing the gas works" its a choke or IAC problem. Possibly even something stuck in the intake or dirty air filter.
