Fuel pump door

I will be replacing my fuel pump in a few weeks (just waiting for it to arrive). I have all the measurment for cutting the access door under the back seat, my question is what is the best tool to cut the door? I know not to use a torch.....I was thinking a cutoff tool or maybe an air chisel. I just want to make sure that I am not going to set anything on fire since I still have some gas in the tank. Thanks

dremel with many cutoff wheels. Whatever you do, don't go more than half an inch past the metal! Fuel lines + cut = BAD
