What does it man when your fuel pump has an open circuit? car runs fine? this is what oreillys diagnostic tester said

Probably the low speed FP circuit which is no longer used.

...or the common 542 or 543 that always get set when a stall occurs.

If the fuel pump circuit were truly open, you would not have been able to drive the car to O'Reilly's to get it read.
