SHOs before HOs
I think ive narrowed my hesitation/lack of power down to fuel. I plan on putting in a new fuel pump to see if that works. But i have a couple questions: the car sat for 3 years before bein ran again on the same lines/pump for the fuel. I changed the filter, but how plausable would it be for there to be a kink/clog in the fuel lines? I was thinking of going the 155lph route but seeing as i have not so much as a y-pipe i think it'd be pointless at this point. Should i buy an OEM pump and save for the y-pipe? or get the 155lph and not have a y-pipe for a good while (winters a comin). Who has a good OEM pump for cheap? How often do these injectors get dirty? Anyway of cleaning them (without going all out)? Im assuming injectors for a SHO are $143243.09 each like most other cars? So in summary, my questions are as follows. Go with the OEM pump and save for y-pipe? Where do get a good OEM pump for cheap? How do i clean those injectors/how often do they go bad? Thanks for your patience with me
Reason for this post? I just raced a 97 eclipse RS 5spd from a roll about 10 mins ago and it was keeping up (yes i know how to race my car, i beat the same model/year eclipse in my SOHC 5spd neon!) i had to shut down at about 50 to turn into my driveway. None the less, UNACCEPTABLE.
