I think it is a CCRM problem from the more post I read about the way my car is screwing up,,,the CCRM in my 94 atx is a J so I am going to swap it with my 94 MTX D code CCRM, from what I read about this swap is that it will work but my coolant fans may not come on ,,,but I only need to go down my country road 1 time to recognize the problem if it is still there ,I will let you guys know in a few minutes

Just did the CCRM swap, car runs great like it did @ half throttle still no full throttle response ,it wants to shit and get but just drops off to a bogg until I let off throttle and it returns fine ,,by the way the coolant fans do work with the CCRM swap, from a D to a J for the 94 ATX and MTX

that is definetly a bad fuel pressure regulater replace it I promise it is bad.your fpr controles the fuel pressure and it is vacume controled. you did exactly what a ford tech would do if it does not bleed down at all after clamping off the line than it is the fpr if it does than it is a bad injector

THE FPR IS BRAND NEW . I CALLED THE FORD GARAGE AND TALKED TO A TECH WHO CLAIMS HE KNOWS THE SHO VERY WELL AND HE SAID THE SENDING UNIT SENDS A SIGNAL TO RETURN THE FUEL AND IT IS RETURNING THE FUEL MUCH SOONER / WHEN I NEED IT THE MOST. IT IS RETURNING THE FUEL WHEN I MASH THE PEDAL INSTEAD OF GOING THROUGH THE INJECTORS..

If I learned one thing from this experience so far I would vice grip the return line @ the drag strip because the increase in fuel pressure was outstanding ,,never has it ever smoked the tires just like it did

I've said it before, and I'll say it again........

REPLACE YOUR SENDING UNIT!!!!

And smoking your tires at will will ensure you'll be soon asking a question about why your car lurched, went boom, and is now leaking tranny fluid all over the place.......

Naaaaaaaa .I never blew the tranny burning the tires,This car has been to the drag strip many times for fun beating other stockies times,

It did happen to me once just driving up a steep paved road to go fishing one foggy morning. I looked in the rear view mirror and seen a cloud of smoke ,a pin in my tranny let loose and broke through the case, I had it towed and then bought a tranny that is better than stock and replaced the mounts with good ones,

Any way I fixed the car last nite , swapped a part from my MTX and all is real nice now ,thank for the help...Joe
