I have an active cylinder 1 p0301 and p0316 set that I'll verify if it's the injector on tomorrow (Definitely not spark).
If it turns out to be injector related I'm thinking about future mods and have a few injector questions related to brand and tune.
Currently have a GH AO tune that needs a revision regardless, but at some point when it's sold, will high flow injectors be compatible with the factory strategy code?
2nd is brand recommended for the injectors without requiring bigger pumps at this point. Not jumping off the cliff yet, but looking.

If your signature is up to date, throwing the stock map sensor and rolling to stock oem tune should be doable. But once you start with mods that require a tune, like the 3 bar map... well rolling back isn't an option without changing parts.

So far you are stock, which I gather is why u are asking for stock FI's

Signature is current for now. Just figured if it turns out to be the injector, it's getting a full set. Still going to be a daily but as the miles climb at some point I expect to be needing turbos. Just kind of forward thinking. When the day finally comes to say goodbye, it's going to be a matter of how much do I want to be pulling back off when returning to the factory strategy code. It's a toss up right now between new OEM injectors, or something considered a step up without being overkill. Ultimately I'm looking for a step up in streetable performance. Heading out to check compression and the #1 injector circuit, although if it was circuit related I would have expected additional codes.
Another thing I do about every other tank is E
blend E85 @ 3gal to a tank of 93. Last check E85 was actually closer to E75. Not sure if the additional alcohol content could potentially effect the injector windings.
Suggestions for injectors based on what I've posted is appreciated.
Cheers

motorcraft else if you have bosch injectors.

if worried about mileage, dial down the performance, dial up the maintenance. that would be my longterm strategy. age-appropriate activity, in other words.

also make sure you have discretionary income for things that are going to break regardless + prices of replacement items that are bound to go up over time. also see what JY options you have.

Going to go with OEM and walnut blast the intake valves while I'm there. And yes, it's been a discretionary income year. It's got the waterpump and everything that goes with it, hail damage PDR, factory struts/shocks and related items, rear brakes, trans fluid change and friction modifier, tires, sparkplugs, and now this. For better or worse there's been a never ending stream of overtime this year too.

I will be corrected if I a wrong however Bosch was the injectors for OEM'd. I could be wrong. There aren't any upgrades without going to Deatsh or XDI.

I liken any Gen SHO ownership to having kids; it's a constant out flow of cash, but fun and rewarding.
Just keep telling yourself that, over and over and you will eventually believe it. LOL
