need help in finding out if a regular taurus filler neck tube is the same as a sho filler neck

Since they have the same tank I would assume the neck is the same too, but I don't know for sure.

I might have to hit a JY and see if I can find one.

Just adding to this , if its the same , it might be the same for the 2000-07...Since the GEN4 taurus are basicly the same as GEN3s.

If this is correct , then it may enhance your search in the junkyards.

I thought I answered this yesterday but I must have missed it, sorry. No, they are not the same filler tube. The original SHO fuel tank is of slightly different shape and capacity than the standard Taurus ones, though you can substitute them both, just not only one.

Here is a great site for filler necks I just got one for my 99 sho. The 98 and 99 use the 3/4 vent hose not sure on the 96/97.
