So, it's time for new front pads again. Honestly, I'm surprised that they made it a year with the way I drive. Anyway...

I want to get the PFC Carbon Metallic again, however, there is no SHO listing for them.... for 1992. There is a listing for 1991, and 1993, however. Was some super special caliper used in 1992, or can I use the pads listed for a 1991? I know in 1993, the void at the back of the piston became smaller or something. Thanks all.

Oh yeah, quick replys are always welcome. :thumb:

Late '91 to '93 use the same rotor, so it should be the same set of pads.

Oh, and if you are going through them that quickly, make sure you have Semi-Metallic pads (or Carbotechs) in the rear. Your rear brakes make a huge difference in the wear and performance of the fronts!

The new Performance Friction Carbon Metallic pad for the 1992 SHO is the 0421-25 model. This information is per Paul Bennett, a Virginia resident whose car I have been able to service as he attends college (at times) at SMU.

I have Semi-Mets in the rear. The majority of my pad wear happened at Gingerman over the summer.
