Looking at Rock Auto for PowerStop brake pads for the front on my SHO. They list the Z371611 compound for $40 in 'High performance" section for $40, and in the "Premium" section there is a Z231611 for $60. Except for price and P/N, what is the difference?

I have a new set of the PP brake pads, but was looking for something with less dust. I don't race the thing, but do haul a** on the local freeway. The Uniden R8 helps with that.
On a related note, I have a new set of cop front rotors and the area between the hat and the rotor face is raw cast iron. Can this area be powder coated or painted to avoid rust?

I have heavy dust pads on the coyote F150. It's messy but, the way I drive, I need to be able to scrub speed off effectively. It's worth it if you have a heavy foot. I went away from Powerstop pads which were just ok and switched to Hawk semimetallic. Just real world observation over the years

I ordered the PowerStop Z371611, they are also known as "Top Cop" pads. After receiving them, they appear to be extremely aggressive, and I'm concerned about longevity of both the pads and the rotors. I've decided to stay with the OEM PP pads.

I have the top cop on my SHO. No problem what so ever. Been on for awhile, stops fantastic.
