Front license plate

Ok, so I live in one of those dumb states that requires a front plate. Mine did not come with one, and I'll be damned if I'm drilling holes in the front of my car! Ideas, suggestions, etc.? What are some of the things you guys/gals did?

search ebay I have seen retractable hide-a -way ones on there in the past... check the Chevy SSR forums too... I remember a guy made his own with pics and how to.. so he could go to shows and still drive legally

If you purchased in Ohio unless they dealer traded from a surrounding state, WV/PA/IN/KY/MI they should have installed unless like my dealer they were just plain lazy.

I live and bought in Illinois where we have front plates. My dealer is not lazy and leaves front plate installation to the owners of all the performance vehicles they sell. They know how a front plate can deter from the beauty of a performance vehicle so the bracket is put in the trunk.

Just keep it with you and explain to cop (if pulled over) the truth - didn't come with one and you're so busy haven't had time to install it! All the cop can do is give you a "Fix It," warning which sucks but better than an actual ticket.

I HAD the same issue DONT buy the retractable plate it WILL NOT work I tried it.So All I did was use 2 zip ties,tied it to the lower front grill been on for months no issues and no drilling

I also live in Iowa, my '13 didn't come with a bracket and I've been driving like that for over a year now...

I think the Drive Bright DRL's help pull eyes off the center of the bumper too
