Has anyone removed the front license plate bracket and mounted their plate lower? I did it in my Fiesta and I thought it was a much cleaner look for the front of the car.

Here's a before picture of a Fiesta as an example:

Here's an after picture:

Is this even possible to do in a SHO?

That does look a lot better. You will have holes in the bumper cover on a SHO. I just took my plate holder off and got bumperplugs.com

Stinks that it leaves holes in the bumper. In my Fiesta the holes were only in the plastic air dam so the plate covered them up.

Yeah. It would be nice if all the states did away with front plates and stopped mutilating our front ends.

If you can find somebody good at plastic welding, could be another option. Or get a non-LP bumper from Ford. Then use a motorized hide-away LP kit to keep it clean-looking.

For those who have removed the bracket, how did you do it? I know, sounds dumb, but on my 2013 it appears to be riveted to the bumper. No screws. I was totally ******. Any insight will be appreciated.

I would also add, if you want a professional finish, go with bumperplugs.com

Thanks for the very quick reply. I agree, Bumper Plugs are great. I used them on my 2011 Mustang GT/CS and the color (Red Candy) was a perfect match.
