First time SHO owner and first time on the forum. I recently traded in my 2014 5.0 for a 2015 SHO (tuxedo black, equip. Group 401a, driver assist package, nav) and I'm loving it! Just wanted to share as Im sure I'll be picking everyone's brain for years to come.

Thanks for posting my pic, still trying to figure that part out.
I'll definitely start w some visual mods (window and tail light tint), performance mods will have to wait a bit as voiding a warranty on my new baby scares me.
Probably just drive her the way she is for awhile.

Pretty much, I tuned my '13 4 days after I traded my '12 in. Both had full factory warranty and I have a good dealer that is tune friendly.

I bought it out of state so I'll have to feel out my local Ford dealer. If they don't care, I'll be looking g at LMS real soon!

13blacksho, is that a tint film or a solid cover on your tail lights? I want to do the same on mine but leave the white portions untinted. I've messed with vinyl pre-cuts before but the contours on the rear light worry me.

I used a spray can (VHT Night shades)
I figured if I bought the pre-cut film something wouldn't line up right.
The day I did mine, I did my buddies '15 Focus tail lights and I covered the white portion with tape and removed it after painting.
It took a while to tape off but it turned out very nice!

Wow. Looks slick. Probably not removable then? Got any other pics?
Thanks.

Yea, I used to have a tuxedo black 2010 fusion which I gave the same look, all blacked out. Plasti dip I finally got to look good but my vinyl/tint work still isn't perfect, good for most but the small imperfections always annoyed me.

Were you happy with the way the nightshade turned out? How many coats did you go with?

I am very happy with it!
I did two light coats, the finish looks very clean and just the right amount of gloss.

So I'm obsessing now about this mod as I tend to do....
I'm finding mixed opinions on how to prep/apply that stuff.
A couple questions if you don't mind cause I'd like it to turn out even and glossy as yours appear to be.
Did you sand the light before applying the spray?
Any sanding or polishing after your 2 coats were applied?
Thanks for the help again

I did not do any sanding, just a thorough cleaning, a good tape job (didn't remove the lights) and then a coat of cleaner wax after it dried.
There is a texture if you rub your hand on them but they look like glass.
