Free Tokicos

ok so when i changed my rear struts i was surprised to see tokicos in the rear. I didnt think they made them for the gen 3, but the previous owner found a way, but anyways, if anybody wants them come and get them, they are still complete i didnt take them apart because i was just gonna throw them away, but i figured i would throw them up here first

springs were broken and strut mounts shot, not sure on the struts, like i said the mounts,springs and endlinks are still attached, since i replaced them all

i will not ship these as i do not have time and it is not worth it:thankyou:

i checked the fronts after i saw the rears, in the front are kyb's

but that is why they are free, i dont know if they are still good or not, some people dont care i was just gonna throw them away like i said but maybe someone wants them idk

On edit, yes I know someone who travels back and forth through Griswold to RI every other weekend or so.

I just PMed EastCoast. I need the struts potentially as housings for a new type of strut I am adapting to the SHO. If it turns out I can not use them (for whatever reason) I will ship them to Eric at his expense.

John, i have stock rear struts here..Im closeer to you to Why chop up Tokikos for a test? when the housing are the same.

Tokicos are "skinny" style struts that (at least to my understanding) yet have additonal gusseting at the top of the housing (know that the fronts do).

Most OEM housings still kicking around in the northeast tend to be from 93-95 cars, which use the "fat" housings.

I will not destroy one in any case, just going to remove the inner cartridge and check some dimensions. If the cartridge(s) looks good (no leaks, still pressurized) Eric could have them.

When will the new toy come apart?
