Okay, so I get home from a little 2 day trip (not in my SHO though), and go out for a ride (in my SHO). The thing is shifting like a twig in a pile of rocks! And I took me quite a while to get it into 1st at a red light (old lady in the Buick was nice and didn't honk) then about 30 seconds to get into reverse later on. Now, it's smoother (still not perfect, never was), but what's up with this thing - is it just reaching its grave? Is there a way to make it smoother without a rebuild? What about a Probe/MX-6 tranny (I heard the SHO has a Mazda tranny in it)? Thanks for any tips!
