Is this thermostat a 192 or a 180 degree? I am considering this one or a generic. I am installing it into a 3.2. I understand that the 3.2 takes a 192 and the 3.0 takes a 180. I am considering putting a 180 in my 3.2, would I get any problems from this? Is their a specific purpose that Ford had 2 different thermostats for the different displacement that would make it problematic to switch them?

Also, is the revison 'B' thermostat for both?

The Ford OEM thermostats for the V6 SHO are all the same temp, and they're all 192F (88C). People claim otherwise, but they all have 88C stamped right on them, even for the 3.0.

Lots of people have run 180F thermostats without too much trouble, but I personally don't see any reason to do so. There are aftermarket 192F stats that work, and the OEM thermostats still work fine as well (although they're a bit more expensive.
