I bought 6 new Motorcraft plugs form FPN about 2 months ago and the car run fine. 20 days latter it started to bog down. Took the the plugs out and 4 of them had crack lines down the ceramic part of the plug where they were grounding to the cylinder head. I went to the local Ford delaership and bought 6 new for over 10 bucks a pice. I lost my recite, so I never emailed the FPN. They either sell shity parts, that is why they are so cheap, or some kind of coincidence that I got 4 bad ones. Car runs fine with the plugs from the dealership and they have been in for about 2 months. Just thought I would give you a heads up.

Torrie at FPN would have taken care of you if you had kept your receipt. I purchased plug wires from FPN and my number 6 wire didn't seat well. He sent me a whole new set and never asked for the original set back. Always answers his email too. Email him and see what he might do for you.

I inquired about whether wires and some other parts were in stock early Sunday evening. Torrie emailed me back Sunday night to give me a shipping comparison estimate. He had driven 800 miles on Sunday too! Monday morning he emails me and most of what I want is in stock so I order it 2-day air. Tracking shows it's on the delivery truck right now. Now that's service.

I think the key here is that you need to ask for service to get it. They can't read your mind. Like the saying goes, "If you don't ask you don't get" Next time give FPN the chance to prove themselves to you by asking if they will make things right.

I agree. I use FPN frequently and have only had great experiences with them. Torrie will work hard to do a good job for sure. Everyone gets a defect sometime.

Next time try to let Torrie make it right..he has always done me the best on all motorcraft parts that I need. I am getting ready to order a VSS from him tomorrow, and he has the part IN STOCK and fordpartsonline.com doesn't even have a LISTING on it!! And if for some reason he can't beat or match a price, he will tell you so. His honesty and service are impecable and I will continue to go to him for all my Ford parts needs. thumbs_u

If they were the Motorcraft plugs, then I think the concern would be with Ford's Motorcraft parts division, wouldn't it? Whether you buy Motorcraft plugs from Torrie, SHO NUT, or a Ford dealership, they are all made from the same company (not FPN or SHO NUT).
I agree with the above sentiments that I think Torrie would make it right if given the chance.

On another note, you may want to tell Torrie either way (whether you expect something in return or not).
I am in the manufacturing business and the worst thing is when someone says that there is a quality issue and they are at their boiling point. Then I say we'll check into it and fix it and hopefully it's just a small bug. They then say they've been getting the same problem for 6 months!
Ugh, tell me 6 months ago and the problem is gone then!
If you tell Torrie he can perhaps bring up the issue to his supplier for Motorcraft parts and they can at least have on file a complaint.

ya gotta realize Torrie does not just deal with SHO owners. being an former member of another message board (Rangerpowersports.com), Torrie does have his work cut out for him. i know the guys on the Ranger board speak highly of Torrie, and i do too. he has always been helpful and when in doubt, hed send me a Ford issued diagram, asking me to point out the part number. i havent ordered from FPN in a long time but the service i had was great.

I've never had anything but a good experience with Torrie. He's tops in my book. Like was said before, give Torrie a chance to correct the problem. He's more than eager to help out where he can.

Just FYI...I paid $24.00 for a set of 6 of the Motorcraft PP plugs that we use in our cars at Murrays.

Hey if you want, I can take a dump in a box and mark it as "guaranteed", I've got spare time.

But for your customer's sake and for your daughter's sake, why not buy quality Motorcraft plugs from me??

P.S. I don't make Motorcraft plugs, Ford does.

I'll vouch for Torrie, too. I haven't actually purchased anything through him yet, but have checked on parts that I will be needing in the near future. He is very professional and friendly and I have no doubt that if contacted, he would try to make things right. Also, as said above, keep in mind the seller is not the manufacturer. The reseller has no control over the quality of the products beyond saying they won't carry certain ones, they are just the middlemand, but if they aren't told there's a problem with them, they have no reason to stop carrying them.
