Ford MyTouch Sync2 What Can I Do?

Hi all,

I have an Android phone, but there's iPhones in the family. My 2015 SHO has Ford MyTouch Sync2.

What apps can I pair? What apps are there? What can I do? I didn't find much easily on YouTube.

I'd really like to use Waze. Ford's nav ... could be stronger.

MFT Sync 2 isn't very user friendly. I couldn't find any apps that you were able to actually connect from your phone. You can jailbreak it to allow phone mirroring then you can display your phone onto the screen.

I'd highly recommend upgrading to Sync 3 if your budget allows it. You can buy everything individually for around $500 and the swap takes less than an hour to complete.

Hmmmm. Sync 3 hardware upgrade. I'll have to ask the dealership about that.

you won't find dealership support unless you know someone that works there that will help. There's pretty good threads on the other sho forum about this swap.
