fog light help

ok i replaced the fog light bulbs and the switch and still no lights. what could be the cause of this. is my next step to find the fog lamp relay and replace it? need help would really like to have my fogs working.

Hav ya checked the fuse located behind the panel that holds the Autolamp and IP dimmer? It's a stand alone fuse that's taped to a couple wires but quite obvious once you remove that panel.

i believe that is the fuse thats above the fuse box or is it behind the auto lamp switch? and if so how does that panel get removed?

Test probe (with test light) about 2 feet before the light bulb. On my 94 I had super corroded wires and connector (the connector 1 feet before the bulb).

It was so corroded that the males prongs were totally eaten and were 100% gone.

A lot of times its a bad connection ... double check your grounds... you should be able to hear the relay click when someone turns it on if u listen for it.

This may be a silly answer, but did you have the headlights on when you tried the foglights? Also the foglights will not operate when the headlights are on bright. That is the way my 93 works.

ok the headlights are on but not on high as they wont work when they are on high i know that but i looked behind the auto lamp panel and didnt see that stand alone fuse i know if you take the metal panel below the steerin whell there is a stand alone fuse there that i checked awhile back. it was fine where is the relay at? and ill check the wires to it as soon as i get the chance. is there anything else im not thinking of is it possible the wireing through to the headlights are bad?
