There are replacements made by Luk on eBay that are a better choice, and cost about the same.

The disk was likely fine, the PP was definitely fux0rd.

It began slipping the first time I romped on it past the 500 mile granny-driven break in. I replaced it with less than 1200 miles on it.

I have a question for ya's. when i took my old PP off there were no pins and i didnt put any in. i was told they are just for alignment. do i need these? the old clutch wrked great untill the end off it all. Im worried that the bolt's wont hold up to the torque and rpm's

Did you read what Tom posted? The 90 I sold Beth had a 9.25, with 148k, still working.

I do agree you should upgrade, but cmon...

There's a reason Ford recalled it, because it is a weak setup and wont last long. I would never go for the 9.25 setup.

148K...it's not weak sauce...Ford upgraded it because people generally don't know how to drive a stick and hold it at 3000rpm for 5 seconds while they slllooowwwlllyyy let out the clutch.
