ok, i pulled a 551, a 528, and a 542 from the self-test a la paperclip. So, according to the link on the shotimes site, this means that there is a problem in the intake manifold runner solenoid, the fuel pump, and the voltage. i have no idea what to do about the solenoid, the fuel pump's in the gas tank (right?), and the voltage... shrug what should i check? I'm a bit lost on what to do

For the 551, make sure the IMRC solenoid is plugged in.

The 528 has to do with the clutch switch.

Ignore the 542.

Of course, if you are having actual issues, it would have been helpful if you had revealed them.

well it starts hard once in awhile, and has trouble idling thereafter, the secondaries don't seem to open up, as there is no surge in power or change in sound at 4k and beyond (not to say that it doesn't get louder, just that its the same sound as 2 or 3k if that makes sense). so where is the IMRC solenoid anyways?

well, i checked out one of your old posts on the IMRC and i'll try to find it and give it a check as best i can, and seeing as its part of the secondaries system, it would make sense that its not well. thanks
