Like totally.... sha!

Ha Ha ha, reminds me of that chick in goldmember.....

No.

I'm saying run that thing already. :swing:

We all want to see what the "400 HP GRANDMA CAR OMGZ0RZ" can do. ;)

OKay, guess I took it the wrong way. Heres whats up I don't want to ruin the tranny, that is honestly it.

I mean I totally get on it sometimes, but I rarely do in 3rd and if I do I shift really slowly into it and ease onto the gas.

That is why I havn't ran it since I've done some mods to it.

It's not shifting hard in too third that will break it (Not to say it won't wear any faster). If you make enough TQ, Your going to shred it regardless.

And I've been told I'm making enough for that to happen...

Shifting hard into third will accelerate it exponentially. It's also not the motion putting it into third, it's the quick egagment and instant torque.

It took Scott one hard shift from a friend hot rodding his car to stripping third the next time he rolled onto it.

Exactly why I dont' slam gears.

I started a thread awhile back about suitible tranny's that would swap in without to much modding, but that just turned into everyone argueing. I'm still up for finding a good one.

I want 14's. I got some things worked out and a stiffer car. I will hopefully have a much needed cat delete and tune up by then too.

John we have got to see that thing run!!

If you do 1.9 60's again ill bet it will happen with a few mods!!!!

Actually when I did hit the 1.8 60' I got my slowest time of 15.7. I want to try to keep my 60' in the 2.0-2.2 range. I honestly don't think I need any more mods for 14's. Maybe I'm wrong, but we'll see.

I understand how that 1.8 60' netted your slowest 1/4 Time. Somthing else must have gone wrong. That 60' time alone should get any good running ATX in the 14', Regardless if they are modded.

Not true in my opinion. I think there is more to it than that.

Yeah a couple of things were wrong though. I had clogged cats, exhaust leak, bad ECT sensor, stuck open thermostat, bad wheel bearing and 80 pounds of stereo stuff in the trunk!

But, a faster 60' in the SHO usually nets a slower 1/4. I don't think I should have been in 14's at all. Especially not that day.
