well... not quite fire... I changed the wiper blades today, and added more coolant... (stupid low coolant light won't turn off, my girlfriend says it's a SHO thing...) well, I took it for a quick spin around the block... I expected it to smoke just a little bit when I got home, from under the hood from burning oil. but, when I got back, TONS of smoke was coming from under the hood... it looked white to me... well, I ran... thinking fire... but, fortunately for me, nothing BLEW UP! I opened up the hood, and it smelled electrical. one thing my friend suggested, was that water could've gotten under the hood. It was raining really bad, I haddn't ever driven it in the rain... and the rubber piece that blocks water from going under there is half-falling off. How much would it cost to have someone re-wire the car? hahaha

To answer the ?????// about cost of rewiring:::as much as a Gen I would sell for if it came from the northern states......"Tin Roof::Rusted"!!!!
IF your wiring harness has fried...I would say your S H O is history. It's not the wires, it's the connecting sensors and the EEC I'm thinkin' about...yep, history.

You need to be much more specific as to the noises, smells and sights of your car to get any legitimate help across the internet. If you are leaking that much oil, you need to jack the car up, put jackstands under it (never crawl under a car that is only supported by a jack), and look for the source of the leak(s). Eighty-five percent of fixing something is finding out what is wrong.
