Today I finally got to drive my SHO again, after something close to two-and-a-half months... I only drove for about 1/4 mile around the block, since I didnt have replacements for the exhaust studs... :) (its very loud without mufflers or cats)

I actually finished last night after working most of the day, starting with mounting the tranny... then I had this strange no-start condition which led me to charging the battery :snicker:  and then today after i cranked it to prime the oil pump, it wouldnt stay running so i remounted the intake and she fired right up like it was never sitting :thumb:

Dan I did the same thing. My intake wasn't bolted down properly and it wouldn't idle.
I'm glad you got the car back on the road again.

Yeah i was driving tonight and got pulled over... no big deal though because my taillights were out and the fuse was blown, i still have to go to the police station and have them check to see if it works and get some papers signed, but no ticket...

anyway the point of the story was when he asked if i knew why he pulled me over i said no (i really didnt) he told me my lights were out and then asked if i was working on the car or something... then later he told me his buddy had a G2 SHO... kinda funny, because i wondered how he knew i was working on it (he must have given his friend a hand more than a few times :))
