finally got the butterflies out but

well i got the butterflies today and the new intake plenum. i started by cleaning them at the car wash got them all cleaned. well when i was inspecting the secondaries i noticed that on the back side some of the plates werent closeing all the way. i dug deeper and found that because of the carbon build up on of the plates got bent? now only half of the plates close properly i dunno it looks like it was like that for a while cause i tried the ajustment screw and it didnt work any ideas on how to fix this problem?

I have some plates if you are interested in replacing them. Or you could take them out and flatten them. Or you could take them out and leave them out.

well i only need one plate cause thats the only one that got bent. the bad part is that the plates are on a two piece shaft and one half closes all the way and the other side doesnt im not sure if something is warn out or if its done for?

I have the LIM off my new car that still has the butterflies. I was planning on removing them, porting it, and swapping it out for my other ported LIM, but I'm willing to trade you for yours if you like. Just pay for shipping on them. PM me if you're interested.

i really didnt see how the shaft got bent tho where the clips hold the two shafts together look kinda sloppy. See i got the whole intake plenum and throttle body with the secondaries at this salvage yard pretty cheap so i still have my original in my car. im planing on sending this set in the the shobros garage to have it porterized so i might just swap parts between them after the powder coat goes on. thanks for the offer tho

Personally I will never have a V8 SHO with the secondary plates or shafts in there.
