Oh, yeah. There's a house attached to it as well. :)

So, after many years of dirt, dirt floored carports, and even one concreted carport I'm finally going to have a garage for parking and working on cars!

Finding a house with even a single car garage at a decent price in Tucson is hard. If you expand requirements to a two car and throw in a requirement for storage the options dwindle to practically zero.

Then we found a place that met all of the family's needs, including a two car with storage! U shaped gravel drive out front, so plenty of parking outside as well.

Some overhead storage as well.

Gotta share the storage area with the washer and dryer, but it'll be more usable space than I currently have. I'll likely also add a shed in the back yard for some additional space.

Fridge will have to go. It's taking up valuable floor space.

Before we move in I'm going to coat the floor and might run an additional 240 circuit over, just in case :)

Not the fridge! Can't cool the beer in the w/d :( Congrats on the score!

Actually, a washer is the perfect beer chillin machine. Fill it full of ice and after you drink all the beer, you can clean up the place AND get rid of the ice/water efficiently.

I have some copper wire you might be able to use for your 220 circuit depending on how many amps you're going to draw and whether you put it in conduit or not.

Congrats!! :woo-hoo:

I just got a garage about a 11 months ago, got it cleaned out by November to put 2 vehicles in before the snow flew. Short on extra space for yard tools and car tools. Just got a really nice free 12ft long workbench with lots of shelves. Mounted the bench vise and now adding/wiring in some outlets and some nice fluorescent lights I scored off craigslist cheap.

Garages are awesome when you haven't had one of your own and then continue to be. :woo-hoo:

No more stained concrete. The coating is a little over a week old, but the flower petals are fresh! :)

She fits in nicely with the door closed (about a foot behind the bumper in this shot) with plenty of space for routine maintenance up front. Also plenty of space for the wife's car without fear of dents or scratches to either. Every time I pull a car into the garage it seems to be a bit more roomy.

Finishing painting just about every surface inside the house, with a target to move in over the weekend of the 4th! Going to be moving spare motors and transmissions in this weekend to clear out some space at the old place to stage boxed before the big move.

A garage is always nice to have. I didn't know how I got along without one til I built mine. Now I'm working at selling this place because it is too much house and not enough people to live in it and help take care of. Don't think I can sell just the house and not my shop!

I'm not sure if we have ever meet and excuse me if we have, I'm getting old enough for that to be an issue. Maybe we can get together sometime

I don't believe we have met, and I'm pretty sure I'd remember the exhaust from that picture if I had seen that beast.

Up until about two years ago I was down in Sierra Vista, and since I've been up here I've been pretty busy working.

It doesn't look like you're too far away, though I've never been to Sahuarita. Once I get settled into the new place and get completely out of this place I'd be up for a meet. :)

The exhaust is new. I haven't even heard it run with it yet. I just finished re-wiring the internal harness with the DIS module away from the motor and in the middle of re-plumbing fuel intake system.

Would like to meet you sometime for sure. Send me a PM whenever your ready
