Fenders From Ford Come W/Black Primer??

I have a thread workin' in the exhaust pipe about how I cannot find a damn fender for my car! Then, Steevil posted that fenders from Ford(dealership) come w/black primer. This interests me due to the fact that my SHO is black and it would be easier to just put a couple coats of spray paint on it...thoughts? Opinions? Whatever...I trust what Steevil says, I just want a second opinion. Thanks in advance!

New Ford ones are flat black, but its not really a primer. It just there to keep them from rusting. It think there's is a sticker on it that says that you have to remove the black anti-rust coating before you prime and paint.

Not to insult your intelligence er anything Joe, but i hope you were thinking about putting regular can spray paint on your car...

joe i pmed you i have a good driver side fender off a gen 1 lx i will even sand it down and primer it for you if you want it
