I bought the Felpro ES 70425 water pump gasket set which came with 3 "O" fings, 2 with thicker rubber than the third all about the same inside opening diameter.

1.) Does this gasket set work with both 3.0 and 3.2?

2.) The box says there is one 94829 Water Supply Tube "O" Ring, my box had 2 of this thicker (more ruibber) "O" rings. Is it usual (or required) to replace the "O" ring at the thermostat end of the supply tube?

3.) The box says there is (and there was only one)one 94900, I assume this is the thinner (less rubber) ring that goes between shrug the pump housing and the engine block. Correct?

The thicker o-rings are for the tube running between t-stat housing and the waterpump. I would defintely replace those, as I recently had a customer's o-rings disintegrate when removing the tube from the waterpump housing. Put it all together and WHOOOOSH, out cam the coolant. Pull it all apart again...

So yes, if you have the parts, replace the parts. :)

Thanks for the feedback.

I think I'll replace the thermostat side tube ring if it leaks.

(I'll go with common practice this time, rather than most preferred practice. You are both right, the implementation just depends on risk assessment relevant to the car being repaired.)
