Faulty Secondary actuator

So the the day I removed my intake to change the metal heater hose that is bolted to the back of the head. While i was at it i swapped the intake with one of my spares due to my front vacuum actuator for the secondaries making a horrible noise. (sounded like real bad valve tap).
Oddly enough my car runs extremely better now. Anyone else have any problems similar to that?
Both intakes were cleaned prior and i reused all of the sensors.
