Hey guys... i just came back from muy buddy's house, i was out trying the car out with 2 of my buddies.... it's freakin awasome... 0-60 in hella quick. lol
anyways i wasn;t very happy with my brakes... or maybe it's because i tried to go from 90-0 in like 3 secs but still... is changing my brake pads to better quality ones gonna make it break faster? and i'm not sure that the previous owner did the 60k mile and the 95k mile (i think) tune up or wutever... kan i still do it?
the car has about 180,000 miles on it... is there anyway i can keep it from breakin down and also keep it running smooth with max performance?
Qs... what brake pads do i need?
what kan i do to make it faster?
any specific oils i need or anything like that?
plz reply!!
thnx guys

actually... it is an automatic... but i like it like that... cause since i redline a lot... once it gets there... it shifts by itself even if the gas pedal is floored

The '93 ATX is the weakest of all the autotragic transmissions.

Do a search and you'll find lots of tips on helping it out, including an aftermarket tranny cooler and the computer from the '94 or '95 which will help it shift better.

However, the '93 is the fastest SHO of all, in fact Saleen SHO just beat a Viper the other day in his.

Also, with 180k on the clock and no 60k done, you might be missing some ponies there buddy! check the plug wells for oil in them. If there is, thats bad.
Other things you can do, new fuel filter, new spark plugs-wires, replace any wear items that are to worn.

Well if you know nothing about cars and would like to do the 60k... it's not a walk in the park.... the hardest part really is taking the intake manifold off and on..... and re hooking up everything... you know i take that back... the hardest part is undoing thoes darn littel coolant hoses under the TB and putting them back on :madflame:

anyways... yeah look at the milage on my car... just got done with a 60k... i think it was the first ever, but i also bought my from a guy who didn't drive it too hard... and i have records of everything done to it from 96! whoo hooo!!!

and ask MiltownSHO, it's still a litte bat out of **** :D
