Greets! My 93 ATX is not holding an idle. When braking, the engine will surge and the Tach will vary between 400 and 1200k RPM, until it finally ends up dying when I finally come to a stop. This only happens when in drive. When in Park idle holds @700RPM. I have recently replaced the TPS, and it is not indicating any codes

Try cleaning the IAB if it's a 2 piece unit. Directions are in the FAQ at www.shotimes.com under "Care and Feeding".

Then run through the idle reset procedure posted by sdpatt several times over the last few months. The SEARCH feature will help. Look for "idle reset".

See if that helps.
