Will they fit on a sho? We're gonna find out. Almost ready for the maiden voyage. Tires are 245/60 R18 stock take offs from an explorer. Didint see anything about this on the web before I bought these so here it goes. Hopefully this helps someone. Tires are about 1" taller than stock.148941be74333bbf441664bda333afa951e8cd0e01182717c0fe45e9f855509d1146a30c1ffa1c92efa0513aa525f137D1969dc0fa3fc4a077ae3f7111180d51

Almost same wheel size. Tire is not the right size. When I put some explorer wheels on my older taurus i put the taurus size tire on the explorer wheel, works good.

Sucsess! Maybe very slight rub on the subframe on the front inner sidewall at full turn but not enough to make any noise if it does. Couldnt fit my hand in there to feel if it was actually touching or not. The larger tires feel noticeably different but in a good wayE5e16b826172fc3a9ddf1320b33c0c74

Lol the car is actually for my girl and she really wanted cop rims for winter wheels but these were a better deal with sensors and good tires already. In exchange for not getting the cop rims like she wanted I told her I'd paint them whatever color she chooses. This was it but it may change again soon it's nice having rims you dont have to worry about.45062b94de47c02c41f365d1e44dcedfC05a08612864ba6f76e192b3d52a16cd

I would say this is the maximum size tire without starting to rub on the subframe at full turn. Also getting very close to the spring perches on the front but no rubbing yet even on good bumps around corners.

Yea lol I cant (or shouldnt I guess) do anything fun with it untill warranty expires, after that it's getting fast. Im using the tapatalk app and uploaded pics through that instead of hosting through photobucket or something so that may be why?

29.5" is the biggest you want to go with the taurus struts.

Lol sounds pretty confident but how do you know this? Fyi these tires are 29.6" and still have some clearance on the strut. Looking at it this wasint a concern anyway because the problematic part of the strut (lower spring perch) is way over sized for what it needs to be and could be bent or cut out of the way. The real clearance issue is any bigger than these tires and you will most likely be rubbing the frame with the front of the tire at full lock.

These are 29.54 and they're pretty damn close, so I wouldn't recommend going bigger. 29.6 is about the same though.

I use 225/60R18 Blizzaks for the winter. They happen to be the exact same revs/mile as the stock tire.
