My 89 is like averaging 20 mpg on the highway right now and after half a tank my gas needle doesn't know where it want to be especially on start up. I got it checked out and the MAF sensor doesn't work at all but i think its more than that. Traveling to the south this week and only got 376 miles out of a whole full tank! Does anybody know why this all is? I think the fuel sending unit may be the problem for the moving needle but not a clue about the extra gas burning. Just a month and a half ago it averaged 30 mpg on the highway with the bad MAF. New plugs, moderate oil, clean coolant and new o2 sensors! Can somebody PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
