Is it easy to get to? I know its behind the glove box, somewhere.....

I thought i could handle the non-a/c... but this year is turning out to be on hot *****. With temps allready in the triple digits, i need to do something asap. I dont feel like swaping comp.'s over. So im going to try another method.

are you thinking of the evaporator core? Thats directly related to the cooling and radiator not the A/C?

I thought the A/C Evaporator was in the engine compartment...

Access to the evap core is pretty much the same as the heater core.

The dash and the plenum all have to come out.

thats what i was worried about....

What about drilling an access hole? Would that be possible? i mean with the location of it? continuing... where excatly is it at? i.e. behind glove box, off to the side... etc.... ???

No shortcuts (that are reversable).

Pull the dash and the plenum.

Im not suggesting pulling the Evap core out.. im talking about getting a line into there....
would that be at all possible, considering its location?

The existing connectors for the evaporator are in the engine compartment at the firewall.

Not sure what you're trying to achieve (other that post-******* :) ) by these questions...

If the evaporator and the connectors are okay, there's no need to "get in there" to make connections, they're between the engine and the firewall.

I know there are the ones in the engine bay....

I dont have any A/C. as in no compressor, lines... its deleted...

This may not work, or it may work but only for a short period of time, but i wanted to get in there so that i could spray the evap. core with Co2...

It might cool something but then fill your passenger compartment with Co2. If you have the windows rolled up that might not be so good.

well, i would spray it, then turn the blower on... but yes, there will be some that comes in..

Another way was going through the engine bay. through the stock connectors. I may try that approach as well... However i would have to restrict the exiting Co2 some, and direct it away from the engine bay... (towards the ground, or route it back farther under the car) once i get my bottles filled, i will give it another shot. Tried it once, but ran out of Co2...
I know it wont be as cold as the stock system... but atleast a cool breeze would be worth it... and cheaper than swaping over the stuff from the 93'.
may seem kinda out in left field to most of yall... but if you had to spend a few minutes in this heat(and its hot....<<< coming from a Texan...)you would be thinking of other options too.....
