Hi,

I am stumped. when I turn on the hazards with the key on the etac and radio display flashes. If I turn on the headlights it stops. If I disconnect the dash plugs it stops. With the dash disconnected a flasher behind the radio flashes as well as the one by the fuse panel. When the display is flashing the flasher behind the radio is not.

Thank you,

Rick

You have either a grounding or a cross-bleed problem in either your headlight switch, turn signal stalk, or your dimmer wheel. Good luck tracking that sumbitch down...

My monies is on the dimmer switch.

Mostly because mine does the same thing.

In my case, if I turn the dimmer all the way down, it will stop. Give it a go and see if that works for you.

I will check that and i will look for cross talk in the ribbon cables on the back of the insruments. It is only on the bright light circuit. when the headlights come on and it dims the dash lights the problem goes away. I also have the wiring diagrams to see what wires are next to each other at the gauge cluster.

Thanks for the input.
