I don't know how long that gas stabilizer will keep fuel good for but I doubt it will keep it good for 2 years so I am betting that your only problem is bad gas. Any CEL?

My money is on that gas, try and siphon out as much as you can and then put on at least 1/2 tank of premo and I'll bet it'll eliminate that "weak" engine.

Also, that "knock" is probably pre-detonation which goes hand-in-hand which low octane (aka 2 yr old gas), these cars are meant to run on 93 and after two years wth or without a preserving additive I'm sure the gas is your issue.

Get that old crap out and feed your machine the good stuff and you'll be alright!
:woo-hoo:

Was the gas in the car e10 (10% ethanol) gasoline? If so, I can promise you that the Stabil did little goo and you are suffering from deteriorated fuel. Siphon out what you can and add fresh.

Well since I finally was able to get around to it, I pumped all of the old gas out, put in 5 gallons of 93 octane with fuel injector cleaner and the thing runns a little better but still gets the misfire/backfire firecracker pops

Fill it up with premium and the most potent injector/system cleaner you can find and drive it til its empty and see if it straightens up anymore. If it helped some the first time, maybe it'll help to do it again especially if the old fuel sat and gummed things up.
I couldn't tell much by the video, but it sounded fairly smooth except for the exhaust leak.
Did you maybe forget a vacuum line or maybe one had a small crack that you didn't notice with the intake off? Torque it down properly? Is the flux capacitor output within range?
