On all of my other vehicles that I have owned I have always cleaned them with high pressure water. I think this may not be a good idea to do on the sho. Any comments or suggestions. My engine is clean but I like to keep it that way.

Also has anyone ever heard of placing one qt of auto trans fluid in the engine at oil change in place on one of the qts of oil. I heard somewhere long ago that it would clean the build up an engine gets (from using pensiol) oil. Has anyone ever followed the directions on the B-12 stuff and poured a can into the oil and let the engine idle for 3-5 minutes and then drain the oil and change the filter. This is also supposed to clean the engine.
thanks

Alan, better read these topics regarding the same question. You can find many more by searching on "water, engine clean." I can also say that I have seen more than a few posts about engine control problems after the engine bay has been washed with water. Please don't.

As far as using B12 in the oil. Man, I just know how easily it cuts through oil so it must reduce the lubrication provided by the oil. That can't be good even for a short run.
