For the record, the 89 SHO's engine & tranny were fairly easily pulled through the top tonight, rather than the traditional drop-the-subframe method, using a picker.
Alternator removed for some extra breathing room, tranny mount left on the subframe, engine mounts taken with the engine.
Main harness was removed prior to pulling, intake was removed, rails & injectors & injector harness remained intact on the car. A/C lines were removed at the compressor, which came with the engine. The only thing to our knowledge that was hacked were the heater hoses at the firewall, which looked like they were on their way out anyway.
Subframe & steering rack remained on the car.
We're going A/C compressor & lines, heat & unnecessary items delete for a quarter-mile / occasional emergency street duty car.
Thanks to Kirk for helping out tonight. Sorry for the warm beer.
