engine cradle / subframe question

I have a 1994 SHO and i need an engine cradle ,my question is are all the cradles interchangable , because i found a 94 taurus gl 3.0 with a good cradle , will it fit my 3.2 ...ty

i dont believe the motor mount spots will line up, among others.. Whats wrong with your current one.

no, they are not all interchangeable. the mtx SHO is unique. I think the atx subframes are all the same, but I'm not certain of this.

passenger rear frame mount is rotted out, bushing falls through..

See if you can connect with the local SHO group in your area. There are alot of floks nearby that might have a line on a subframe. There are also salvage search sites and you can research online a salvage yard within driving distance that lists the parts you need with contact info.

I second this! Had the same problem with my 95atx. I used a gen3 cradle. however the atx cradle is the same 86-95 sho/slo/sable also included in the is the continental 89-94. if you do go with the gen3 cradle you will need to modify it a little bit. Otherwise it is a straight swap atx to atx no matter the motor trans combo. hope that helps.
